About Vedic Meditation

Learn more about the life-changing benefits of a daily Vedic Meditation practice.

What is Vedic Meditation?

Vedic Meditation is an effortless technique and only requires 20-mins of practice twice a day.

Vedic Meditation uses a particular type of mantra (mind vehicle) to trigger deep rest (deeper than sleep) in the mind and body. You sit comfortably, close your eyes for 20-mins and let the mantra, and the body's healing intelligence, do the work for you.

When we take the step to learn Vedic Meditation, we don’t have to wait long to feel the benefits. From as early as the first week, our students report increased feelings of calm and happiness, a lessening of reactivity and a heightened enthusiasm for life.

Why learn?

In this 21st-century life, we all lead busy, active lives with more to do and seemingly less time than ever before.

This constant requirement to be available and desire to have things ‘now’; amongst other environmental and cultural factors, has led society, in general, to be stressed; and not just stressed…but continually stressed. We have normalised operating in ‘fight or flight’ mode, and our physical, mental and emotional well-being has suffered.

Many of us feel that something is missing or that there is more to be had in life. We end up looking for something outside of us rather than looking within to find the solution. It might seem crazy, but there is a place that is the source of all of our happiness and fulfilment, and it is this place that we have access to during meditation.

The Benefits

Vedic Meditation helps to bring the nervous system back into balance and allows deep rest to the mind and body. It’s from this space that we can experience more creativity, clarity, calm and the ability to live life to its fullest in a busy and demanding world.
